On behalf of the leadership of NGMA, we thank you for your support of the National Grants Management Association. Our Grants Management community is strong, and we are thankful that you are a part of our NGMA family. The health and safety of our members, attendees, partners, leadership and staff are of the utmost importance and our first priority. The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) public health issue has been on our minds for some time now as we have monitored government regulations and news about the ever-evolving nature of this unfortunate public health event. Over the weekend, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has issued guidelines that events of 50 or more people be canceled for at least 8 weeks and the Governor of Virginia announced that all gatherings of 100 or more people statewide were banned.

With these thoughts in mind, we are announcing today that we will be postponing NGMA’s Annual Grants Training (AGT) and Grants Management Body of Knowledge Training (GMBoK) until a later date. This decision has started the process of our discussions and negotiations with our hotel and vendor partners for future date possibilities that still meet our previously established parameters and based on public health projections of the subsiding of this virus concern. Currently, that window is tentatively projected to be between June 1st and October 1st. We will provide information updates as soon as they are available with our commitment to promptly keep you informed.

For all registrants of the Annual Grants and Grants Management Body of Knowledge Trainings, we will automatically apply your registration fees as a credit on account with NGMA. This credit can be used for anything NGMA-related including our future scheduled training, membership, webinars, printed GMBoK guides or Certified Grants Management Specialist renewal, testing or prep fees. The credit will be good for two years and can be used at any time during this time period. We do understand that some attendees have fiscal year policies or other requirements that would require a refund. If you absolutely need to request a refund, please email [email protected] with your full contact information and reason for your request and our customer service staff will contact you to discuss the next steps.

Thank you for your support of NGMA and contributing to the strong grants management community that we have all built as a team. We look forward to continuing to serve you now and in the future.

Sincerely,

Alyssa Haugen
