About Virtual GMBoK© Training
In this two-day, virtual Grants Management Body of Knowledge (GMBoK©) Training, gain in-depth understanding of the full grant lifecycle, from solicitation and evaluation of applications to closeout and audit. Attendees will:

Learn about the laws, regulations and policies affecting the administration of federal grants;

Review the latest updates to the Uniform Guidance published at 2 CFR 200;
-
Recognize the importance of internal controls in managing federal awards;
-
Reduce the risk of fraud, waste and abuse;

Learn to better manage recipients and subrecipients; and
-
Understand audit requirements for all parties, including auditors, auditees and the awarding agencies

GMBoK Guide©
GMBoK Training materials include the GMBoK Guide, a foundational resource for all grants management professionals. All paid registrants receive a hard copy of the GMBoK Guide©.
Guides will ship two weeks before the training to paid registrants.
To guarantee receipt of GMBoK Guide by training dates:
- Registration and payment or proof payment is in process* must be provided to NGMA at [email protected] by November 18, 2025.
* Proof of payment includes a purchase order, copy of a check, or promissory note on organization letterhead.
- If you register/pay for training after November 18 and do not receive the GMBoK Guide in time for the training, you will have access to the online version of the Guide during the training. (Member login required)

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus 1-2 years of full-time grants management experience or 3-4 years of grants management experience without a degree. Familiarity with 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance is required.

Cancellation Policy
All GMBoK© Training registration cancellation requests must be submitted by the registrant by email to [email protected]. NGMA will not accept requests by an employer.

Cancellations received by 11:59 p.m. ET on November 18, 2025, will be eligible for a full refund minus a $50 service fee.
- November 19 - December 3, 2025 - Cancellations are eligible for a refund minus $300 (includes the cost of the GMBoK Guide).

After November 18, 2025, no refunds or credits will be issued.

No credits or refunds will be given to no-shows.

No credits will be given in lieu of refunds. Refunds by check may not be issued until the conclusion of the event.
Substitutions/Transfers
Requests for transfers/substitutions must be made in writing directly by the registrants to [email protected]. NGMA will not accept requests by an employer. The following transfer/substitution policy applies:
By 11:59 p.m. ET, November 18, 2025 – Transfers/substitutions may be made at no cost; should a non-member substitute for a member, the difference between fees will be due at the time of transfer.
As of November 19, 2025 – Transfers/substitutions will incur a $50 service fee.

NGMA’s Virtual GMBoK Training is an individual training. It is a violation of our policy to distribute the login information or show this training to a non-registrant individual or group. Violation of this policy will result in NGMA refusing future access to events, trainings or publications. Please contact [email protected] if you wish to use this virtual event in a classroom setting or host a private GMBoK Training (25+ individuals required).

During the registration process, all attendees agree to the License Agreement for GMBoK’s Online Materials. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting our copyright by not reproducing, emailing, transferring, storing the materials in an accessible server, using them for sale, resale or other commercial use. Only the registered licensee shall be allowed to these materials.

All attendees of NGMA virtual events agree to adhere to NGMA’s virtual meeting code of conduct.
Individuals with invoices over 90 days in arrears may be subject to suspension of membership.

Hotel Information
In-Person GMBoK Training is held at: Washington Hilton 1919 Connecticut Ave. NW | Washington, D.C. 20009 The Washington Hilton is located within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan. It is six (6) miles from Reagan National Airport and within walking distance of the DC Metro subway system. About the hotel
Reservations Attendees are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms. NGMA secures a room block * at the hotel the week of the training. Reservation link will be posted here when registration opens.
Hotel space will sell out, so please reserve your hotel rooms ASAP. Information on overflow accommodations will be posted here if/when the NGMA room block at the Washington Hilton reaches capacity. * About NGMA room blocks: NGMA's room blocks are negotiated rates with the hotel that are generally lower than those advertised on the main hotel website. Training attendees should book hotel rooms through NGMA's reservation links to ensure they receive the negotiated rate.

Technology Consent |

Registration, attendance at, or participation in any NGMA-sponsored activity constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or participant’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such activities by NGMA and other third parties, including but not limited to the event app or other software utilized. Your registration may include technology that monitors your activities, such as session attendance, public chats, and Q&A during sessions.

By registering for any NGMA event, you agree to allow your data to be collected by NGMA and be transferred securely to and stored by third-party technology providers and/or event partners, including but not limited to meeting app providers (Zoom, Oasis, Personify and Conferences I/O), payment processors (Payscape), the host hotels (Washington Hilton, The Churchill), and NGMA Corporate Alliance Partnership Program (CAPP) partners.
The purpose is for the fulfillment of the service(s) related to event registration and attendance; these may include but are not limited to processing payments, confirming hotel reservations/rooming needs, tracking session attendance and continuing professional education (CPE) credits. Additionally, NGMA CAPP partners may rent attendee data for marketing purposes under a single-use agreement.
