Sub-Recipient Monitoring Presented by Paul H. Calabrese, Principal, GRF, CPAs & Advisors
This session covers requirements for sub-recipient monitoring based on the revised Uniform Guidance effective 11/12/2020. We will cover the rules and lots of practical guidance. There will be an example for PTE providing performance-based payments under a fixed amount award as well as two tools in monitoring sub-awardees: (1) Risk Matrix and (2) Self-Assessment Survey (SAS) checklist. Learning Objectives:

You will learn the difference between a sub-award and a contractual agreement for goods and services.

We will demonstrate how to use a risk matrix for consideration for the need for a site visit.

You will discover various monitoring techniques using the sub-award, request for reimbursement and the SAS checklis.
