Andrea Brandon, Deputy Secretary for Budget, Finance, Grants & Acquisition, U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), will provide a federal perspective on the current federal grants landscape.

• What type of information is needed for helping grant recipients monitor subrecipients?

• Are you receiving informative progress reports and accurate financial reports from subrecipients?

• Do you perform annual risk assessments on your funded project?

• Does your organization require regular status reports on its funded grants?

• Do you think risk assessment training is needed to manage your current grant portfolio?

• Have any funded grants been terminated or has the performance period been changed in any of your funded grants?

• Should federal guidance provide better information on how to manage a reduced funded grant or with a changed performance period?
